WEBGIS OF EXPLORATION SITE WIHT PYTHON (GEODJANGO, LEAFLET)

THIS PROJECT IS STILL UNDER DEVELOPMENT.

In this project, I developed a sophisticated web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) application designed to visually display a detailed map of exploration sites. To create an intuitive and engaging user interface, I employed a combination of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the front-end design, while leveraging the Django framework (Python) to manage the back-end operations. For rendering the map and ensuring smooth, interactive user experiences, I utilized the powerful Leaflet library.

The application is driven by dynamic data sourced from a PostgreSQL database, which stores crucial information about the drillhole layer, while additional spatial data layers, such as resource boundaries, buildings, and road access, are provided through GeoServer. Beyond simply visualizing spatial data, the application also includes a comprehensive admin panel. This feature empowers users with the ability to seamlessly add, modify, or delete data directly from the server, making it an efficient tool for managing exploration site information in real-time.
