This script automatically generates downhole log plots of assay data from a drillhole. I used a combination of several Python packages, namely pandas and matplotlib, to build this script.

The general workflow of this code is as follows: it retrieves data from a database (which can be an RDBMS database, Excel, or CSV file), performs a loop for each drillhole in the data, and then plots the downhole graph. The final output of this script is a PNG graphic log plot file for each drillhole.

The graphics exported from this code can be used for data analysis and validation purposes.
